Chamber Music

Chamber Music The chamber music program will accept talented piano and string (violin, viola, cello) players. The aim is to emphasize artistic and technical growth through private individual lessons, chamber music sessions and class performances.

Chamber music ensembles encompass a gamut of musical compositions from early baroque to the contemporary. Ensemble playing is about building on each other's attributes. This course takes into consideration the developmental level of individual players. With this in mind, prior to the beginning of the session, students are encouraged to bring or request music which would be of particular interest to them.

Students will work on major works of the chamber repertoire with leading musicians in the field. Plenty of time will be afforded for individual and group practice. Several concerts will be given throughout the session.
