| Light and Color: Discover Venice and the Veneto is a 9-day tour through the Veneto region. Our home base is the charming little town of Dolo, just 15 kilometers outside Venice on the Brenta River. From here the group takes daily excursions, which allow them in-depth exploration of the “popular side” of Venice and many of its obscure and intriguing facets. Trips to various sites on the mainland give a complete perspective of the incredible artistic influence this magnificent city had on the rest of the Veneto region. |

| Journey Through Central Italy |
| Tour Dates: June 7-16, 2008 |
Journey Through Central Italy is a professional development and continuing education 10-day tour for secondary school teachers and administrators as well adults interested in the arts and humanities. This tour offers an in-depth study of the region and its history through cultural enrichment. |
| Faculty from all regions of the country have the opportunity to draw on the experience of colleagues from a variety of fields and backgrounds, while being immersed in the richness of Italian culture, past and present. Many educators have used this tour as a framework to pursue special areas of research after they return, while others have successfully applied for development certification credits as required by their respective state and regional licensing organizations. The tour is tailored to the specific needs and interests of participants and the subject areas they teach. |
